How much is life insurance?

The City provides $15,000 life insurance to all employees at no cost to the employee.  Employees have an additional option to purchase supplemental life insurance and dependent life insurance.
Supplemental life insurance employee costs vary based on age and amount of supplemental insurance taken.  Dependent life insurance is a flat fee.  Employees must have a minimum of $10,000 supplemental life insurance to elect dependent life insurance.
