Current Park Closures, canceled or postponed events
larksville Parks and Recreation is working with local public health officials to closely monitor coronavirus (COVID-19). To ensure the safety of the public, the Department has canceled or postponed all organized activities and closed certain facilities through May 10, 2020.
City parks and trails are currently open, providing a place for people to recharge and enjoy the outdoors. Parks crews will continue to sanitize all outdoor equipment and facilities including playgrounds.
Social distancing is recommended as you use the parks and trail amenities.

The Department of Parks and Recreation is dedicated to providing quality programs, services and facilities. The Department strives to achieve and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. In certain cases and conditions outlined herein, it is the policy of the Department to provide refunds to our customers.
Since the World Health Organization declared a global health emergency for the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in late January, the Department has monitored official news and guidance in order to support our community while prioritizing their safety and well-being.
In keeping with our commitment to customer service, we are happy to work with any patrons who cannot attend or feel uncomfortable attending their designated activity or reservation.
We will endeavor to:
- Transfer the patron to another activity date/time,
- Waive any associated administrative fees and refund activity fees, where possible, and
- Provide flexibility on facility/venue bookings by offering the customer options to reschedule.
Requests for refunds must be made in writing prior to the activity to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The following fees are considered non-refundable: Youth Leagues Uniforms and/or other Equipment/Trophies, Food Items, Boat Dock (once boat has docked-no matter when it leaves), Parking Fees (once lot has been entered), Non-Refundable Deposits or Registration Fees, Gift Certificates, Day Passes, Pool, Recreation Center, BCycle and Dog Park Memberships (after first three visits), Parks and Recreation Gift Card Balances, Credit Card Fees (A 3% Administrative Fee will be applied to all credit card refunds.)
